I wish I could say that there would be many posts today on the deals I've found but alas, four hours of sleep in the last thirty hours does not produce grand results. Monday night I took my son to the emergency room for an asthma attack...all routine, or so I thought. He wasn't responding to breathing treatments at home and after calling his pulmonary specialist was advised to seek medical help. Hearing "ER" and "now" in the same sentence is enough to put anyone feet into motion.
I wasn't planning on staying...neither was my husband. I'm so thankful for family who steps in in time of need! They are truly a blessing.
I write this post from home on a short reprieve from hospital duty. My husband took off work at lunch and is now with our son while I'm able to come home and hopefully clean up...who knew one could look so bedraggled by simply staying awake over 24 hours. I haven't pulled an all-nighter since I as a teenager. Now I know why! YUCK!
Next time, and I hope there will never be a "next time", I'm packing a bag...
