Texas City ISD Blood Drive...

I was recently inspired by a Dear Friend's blog post about the importance of giving blood. The day after 911 my roommates and I, being a senior in college, packed a car and headed to the nearest blood drive. It's been awhile since I've given blood but since finding out that I boarder on high cholestrol I thought I'd better have it tested again...and give blood while I'm at it.

So on Friday, May 18, 2012, Texas City High School will be having it's annual HOSA Blood Drive in the TCHS main gym from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Jackie Thompson at (409) 916-0851. You must have a photo ID (check), be at least 17 years old (*sigh* check), and weigh at least 110 pounds (I wish!!). Hope to see you there!

  3. Only BEES can make honey, and one WE can produce blood. If somebody needs it, it can't be manufactured.
