Today we started back to school and I admit I'm not so at-ease as I was last year. My teaching background consists of high school students and chemistry, biology, algebra I &II, and geometry. It does not include preschool children who do not know how to read or write. Usually my classes have everyone working together on the same subject not two different subjects at the same time. I'm having to learn to juggle. But we made it through the first day now only108 more days left!
Oh, Michael was excited...didn't know if you could tell or not. He's an old pro at this school thing.
Melody was excited to have her own desk WITH her name on it. She is now officially "Big Stuff"!
But as with any school there is always work to do; like new things to learn, lines to trace, and great pictures to color!
Just look at that concentration...and those lines! I was impressed and I'm her Mommy/teacher!
And those coloring skills? Who knew!

ReplyDeleteOur first day will be August 27th.....Lydia and I will go to the vet for heart worm pills for Sheba, then get her hair cut 10 inches so she can donate it....then Ci'Ci's for pizza to celebrate.
