Glorious, Glorious Weather...

Oh what beautiful, glorious, fantastico weather we've been having. I find it a little odd this early in the fall-ish season. Usually September finds us in the full throws of hurricane watching...and waiting. With soaring temperatures and unbelievable humidity we spend most of our time indoors, which gets old...very, very old.

But yesterday? Yesterday was beautiful. So beautiful that after doing some housework the kids and I piled up into the van and headed off to the park.
Yeah, this was the best picture they would sit still long enough for me to get. They look like they've been playing and my son has this I'm about to be bad look written all over his face.

Melody was more enraptured by all the beautiful flower bushes that were blooming.
I'm sure the city won't miss just one flower...okay, two. Michael found one too. Monkey see, monkey do.

As for me, I found the nearest picnic table and spread out my things...
There was the new pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks that I indulged in, the classical music that I hummed to, and lesson plans that I wrote out. For one glorious hour we soaked up the sun and reveled in this most glorious weather! Happy Fall!!
