Monday Madness...

So here's how this Monday is going down:

1)  I'm taking a boat to work this morning. With the downpour that we've had over the last 24 hours, I'm thinking calling a "Weather Day" would be apropos.

Three words: coffee, fireplace, book...oh, and no need to bother me with trivial things like kids, school, and housework. Now that sounds like a fantastic Monday.

2) I WILL NOT curl up and take a nap at my desk today. Here's the thing, the old medicine I took would make me anxious and uptight all the time. This new medicine makes me feel...so mellow. By ten o'clock I'm ready for a nap.

That's ten o'clock in the morning.

How mellow, you may ask? I found myself playing bubbles with my four year old the other afternoon. This went on for a good thirty minutes of me twirling in circles fascinated by the amount of bubbles that were produced.

Yeah...that's pretty mellow.

3) I WILL get those essays graded today for my history classes! A week ago they finished, I think, the Coolest. Project. Ever! One class chose a Post Reformation Character from history while another class chose a particular culture to decorate using a two-liter bottle. It was appropriately called "The Coke Bottle Project."

Told ya' they were cool! However, there's just something about grading the essays that accompanied these cute projects.

I have to read them. And grade them. And try not to re-write them in my head.

Ahhh...the life of a teacher.

4) There WILL be a Thirty-One wish list put together by the end of the day. Odd topic, I know but I'm hosting a catalog party starting April 27th  through May 18th. More on that later but when my new cross body came in the other day, I just knew the only way to get a few more flap accessories was to have my own party.

This is the most comfortable wearing cross body. Lots of space on the inside and easy around the shoulder. Adjustable strap, pockets inside and out, stylish, lots of options...have I sold you on it yet?

Wait! Don't get one just yet! Anytime after April 27th....that will be the best time to order!

And then lastly...

5) Friday is only five days away. I WILL make it until then. It may not be pretty...

but hopefully you will make it too.
