Going...Going...Almost Gone!

Today is the very last day of July.

Thank you, Captain Obvious!

No, seriously, that was the first thought that went through my coffee-deprived brain this morning as I sat squinting at my phone in the early morning sunlight streaming through my bedroom window.

We are also exactly three weeks out from the first day of school.

Take deep calming breaths!

There's something about ending July and starting August that really gets me excited. For one, college football is almost here, and that means pulling out all my team gear to decorate with!

Secondly, it's time to shop for school supplies. To be honest I love shopping for school supplies but cringe at the thought of actually going back to school.

Thirdly, I really only need to say just two words for this one...

PUMPKIN SPICE!

Oh yeah! Slipping from July into August is just one step closer to fall!

So in the spirit of what tomorrow brings, I bought this at Walmart today while picking up a few items...

Now almost every outlet in my house is eminating this delicious Cozey Autum Cuddle scent. I've also knocked the thermostat down a few degrees, and pulled out the fall leaves throw to curl up in.

I briefly thought about starting the fireplace, but realized my hubby and my kiddos would probably not appreciate that.
