This was my exact thought as I found myself pushing the "Buy it Now" button on Ebay early Wednesday morning. There was this sort of accomplishment once I'd finished paying for my precious new purse. After all, I had spent the last two weeks scouring the web looking for just the right purse. I wanted something "springy" since apparently it's right around the corner.
I've also learned that over the last few years I've become very, VERY particular about the kind of purse that I carry.
One summer my husband surprised me with an end-of-school present of a fantastic Michael Kors orange purse from one of their factory stores. It was FABULOUS! But a few days later the handle started to unravel. I really thought the warranty would ensure I would be sent an exact replacement.
Wrong.
Six weeks later, multiple e-mails, angry letters to each of the board members of the company, a personal phone call, and a $500 gift card, I was the proud new owner of not just one Michael Kors purse....
That was two years ago. The "Purse Bug" bit me a few weeks back, and I was a little nervous to mention that to my dear hubby. These babies aren't cheap. But I really, REALLY wanted a new style and definitely a new color.
And boy, is it pink! I absolutely LOVE it!
I jokingly told my hubby that with a new purse and some fresh highlights in my hair to cover the grays, I was a new woman.
All I heard from the bedroom was, "You promise?"
Nope. No promises, but at least I won't need a purse for another couple of years.
