See How the Gray Grows...

I absolutely love going to get my hair done! Since we're celebrating our advancement into the spring season (we're also on spring break this week), I thought it was time for a trip to the hairstylist. 

It's been seven weeks since my shoulder surgery and the start of doing my hair one handed. That meant going with the natural curls, no blow dryer, and no hair straightener. When I actually dried and straightened my hair for the first time last week, I realized how long my hair was...and how much gray I have.

So this new spring season we're learning to embrace the gray, and it started with three hours at the salon...

This is like Christmas! I'm all wrapped up, anticipating the new color that's about to be unvailed!

And it did not disappoint! I've gone from brunette streaked with gray to...

...blonde with streaks of platinum. Now those grays blend right in!

Oh, and the hairdresser was so excited at how well the color turned out, she curled my hair.

I left the salon feeling like I'd had a makeover...and after the week I'd had, I desperately, desperately needed one.

So even though I haven't posted any more videos yet, I am still alive and ready to spend my week catching up on some sleep and doing absolutely nothing.

That sounds like a fabulous spring break!
