Little Sprouts...

On Friday Michael and I planted some Zinnias. I posted many of the pictures under my post "Planting Flowers". This was Michael's first time dealing with plants and since he's a "hands-on" child (most of the time this is a bad thing!) I thought it would be a great educational tool.  Let me just interject this...it has been a great tool!

Every morning when I open the blinds in the living room, Michael has come running out to see if there were any signs of change in the little flower pot.  He's been greatly disappointed...until Tuesday morning. There in the dirt were several sprouts, shooting up into the air. That certainly made his day--and mine!
