7-Up Biscuits...

Don't worry. You read the title right. It's possible to make a flaky, moist, melt-in-your mouth biscuit using 7-Up.

My Mom found this recipe a few months ago and once we tried and the family inhaled them...like, there was nothing left in the pan, we knew this was a favorite to add to our "Our Favorite Pinterest  Recipes" book. They are super easy, with just four ingredients, and easily tweaked to be Weight Watcher friendly. These type of recipes are fast becoming my favorite. Who wouldn't like whipping four ingredients together, tossing them in the oven, and ta-da! You have a nice addition to your meal.

As always I hope you will give them a try and then come back to let me know how they turned out. Enjoy!

7Up Biscuits

What You Will Need:
2 cups Bisquick (We used the Heart Healthy to make more Weight Watcher friendly)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7-Up (We used 7-Up Zero so no added carbs!!)
1/4 cup melted butter

What You Will Do:
  • Cut sour cream into biscuit mix then add 7-Up. It will make very soft dough.
  • Sprinkle additional Bisquick mix on board or table and pat dough out into the same size/shape as the pan you are going to bake them in. Cut biscuits into squares.
  • Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour in a 9-inch square pan. Place cut biscuits in pan. They will be touching, and bake at 450 degrees F until golden brown (approximately 15 minutes).
