Green Bean & Bacon Bundles...

It's been a while since I last shared a recipe with you. Over the last couple of weeks I've been substituting in the academy and really not having any time to try out new recipes. But for dinner my Mom and I combined our efforts and our recipes to make a wonderful spread of food. Here is a simple, easy side dish that is both delightful and delicious!

Green Bean & Bacon Bundles

What You Will Need:
2 cans of whole green beans
1 package of bacon

What You Will Do:
  • Open and drain the green beans.
  • Cut about 12 strips of bacon into thirds.
  • Wrap five or six green beans with one piece of cut bacon. Continue until all green beans are wrapped.
  • Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or  until bacon is cooked.
  • Serve and enjoy!!
My kids are huge fans of green beans and Michael ended up eating about 7 or 8 bundles. We took a picture to show you just how much he enjoyed them:
Mmmmm....that's some mighty good green beans! Enjoy them yourselves. And if you get a chance to try them please come back and leave a note as to your thoughts.
