Grab a cup of coffee....

...and let's catch up from the last seven months. After all there's no slowing down for this family!

My last post in November was a recipe for some French Breakfast Puffs that I had made to share with my fellow teachers at school. Great recipe, by the way, and I would totally recommend trying it out.

At the first of December the Lord opened the door for us to move into a rental home, finally getting all of our belongings out of storage. It felt like Christmas opening up all those boxes I had packed almost a year before! It took me six weeks to get everything unpacked. I was mighty determined to have everything set up by the time Baby Number 3 came along...and I did! Super proud of myself for that!!

Jackson made his appearance mid-February...

Labor was a piece of cake compared to the delivery. My first two came with just three pushes. Jackson took an hour of pushing. But he was worth every push.

On the day we were to come home from the hospital he was admitted to the NICU
due to concerns about a heart murmur and some lung issues...
It was the longest four days of my life!

Once we were home from the hospital March slipped into April and then May and our oldest sone graduated from Kindergaten...
Then a few weeks ago my hubby, myself, and our baby headed off to California for our fourth year at the Spiritual Leadership Conference an hour north of Los Angeles....
As we were unloading in Dallas for a layover we were waiting for our stroller to come from the back of the plane. The pilot, finding out it was Jackson's first airplane ride, took us in to the cockpit for a family photo! It was one of the major highlights from our trip.

And of course, I LOVE California...
Now we are coming up to our annual VBS/Missions Conference.

Our family is doing great, even our little Jackson....
who smiles at everyone!

So that's what we've been up to. If you'd like, you can always catch up on all the pictures posted on our family website, Just the Three of Us: The Smiths.

Well, now that my cup is empty there are children to attend to...and for that I will need another cup!
