Well, in a frost bitten sort of way...
The afternoons have been nice but the mornings have been down right chilly! Now for all you who live up north, don't laugh. This is snow jacket weather for us warm-blooded southerners.
Actually, since the afternoons are more "spring-like" in temperature, I thought it was about time to do some "spring" decorating in my house. Just to remind you, my refrigerator is running at a balmy 68 degrees (see Mindset Monday) while there's frost forming on the car windows outside.
There is something so wrong with that statement.
I've actually been using my garage as a temporary refrigerator these last few days. At least this cool weather is good for something other than reminding us not to change our closets over to short sleeves just yet.
So in the spirit of the 68 degrees of my fridge (it's being replaced today, Praise the Lord!), I've been changing some decor in my kitchen. This lovely little gift basket came to my house Saturday, thanks to the Ladies Array...
You probably can't tell but these are all things from Rhee Drummond and her Pioneer Woman line. HUGE fan, by the way...of her cooking and her decorating.
I cleaned off the display shelves in my kitchen and put out a few of these little goodies...
Now there's some pops of color for ya'. And true to the description, spring is in the air...in a flowery sort of way.
Simply Springified,
I'm trying to be content and not jealous over those gorgeous new dishes you have!
