I've never been one for bucket lists. Not that I see anything wrong with them...in fact, I have a board on Pinterest of places I'd like to visit.
Take for instance Spend the Day in Seattle. My husband was stationed in Everett, Washington, near Seattle back in the early 2000's, and I would really, REALLY like to go to places like the original Starbucks, Fisherman's Warf, the Chihuly Glass Museum, the Space Needle, the ferry on Puget Sound...You can tell I've put some thought into this.
So while scanning through my Pinterest feed the other day, I found something that piqued my interest. Ever heard of The Fall Bucket List?
Supposedly there are quite a few different kinds of lists you can choose from, with things like roast pumpkin seeds, go pumpkin picking, jump in the leaves. or go on a hayride. There are even blank lists that you can print out and write your own.
The idea is to get you to write down things to do to enjoy the changing of the season...and boy, after temperatures in the 100's this week with no cool down in sight, I am sooo ready for fall!
Today I officially wrote my own bucket list...
...and over the next few months I'm going to "pictorially" cross each one of these off and post it here when I do. Click HERE for a free printable list if you think you'd like to do this challenge with me! Of course there are several different set-ups you can find on Pinterest if you'd rather have something different.
Since writing my own list, I've added one more thing I'd like to do: make chili for the Fall Festival contest. That will be along with go to a football game, start a fire in the fire pit (obviously when it's cooler), create a leaf craft, drink apple cider, eat a funnel cake...just to name a few.
The burn a pumpkin candle was crosed off today...
My house smelled so good! Think I'm going to keep doing this until Thanksgiving.
And then there's the make a new fall shirt. I may have made more than one...
I absolutely love, Love, LOVE both of these shirts. Bought my shirts at Walmart; and using my lovely Cricut, I cut out the vinyls. Simply attach with the heat press and look what we have here...
Now if only the weather would cooperate.
What about you? You up for the Fall Bucket List Challenge? Come along with me and let's enjoy the season together.
Simply 'S'elebrating Something New,
