CVS Shopping Trip 7/18...

When I went to do my deals for school supplies on Monday, I hit a gold mine of Extra Care bucks and coupons from the coupon machine at CVS.

Five coupons printed out but I put together a deal scenario with four of them:

• $5/$15 Beauty Purchase
• $4/$20 Purchase (Sale that ends Wednesday, 7/18!!)
• $2/$8 or more Purchase of Tide
• $5 Extra Care Bucks for spending $50 on Beauty Club Items

When I went back today to use my coupons, another $2 Extra Care Bucks printed out at the machine!! This is what I bought:

• 2 Head & Shoulders 2-in-1 24.7 oz bottles (the BIG bottles)--$6.99 each (regularly $7.79)
• Coupon: B1G1 FREE up to $9.49 from 7/1/12 P&G (exp. 7/31/12)
• Register took off $9.49 and not $6.99!!
• 2 Clean & Clear Face Wash--$6.49 (B1G1 50% off) and $3.24
• Coupons: $1/1 printable coupon
• Tide with Febreze 60 loads--$11.00 (regularly $15.29)
• Coupon: $1/1 Tide product from 7/1/12 P&G (exp. 7/13/12)

Along with the four CVS coupons from above and the $2 Extra Care Bucks that printed today at the coupon machine, I spent a whopping total of $7.45 with a savings of $36.64!!  That's less than the cost of the Tide alone! YIPEE!!
