I had to take the week off from photography due to the annual Vacation Bible School/Missions Conference at our church. My plan is to totally make up those days this week with re-visits each day but of course, there's really no telling if I'll get them all in.
Here are a series of photos for Day 30-Self Portrait.
Instead of the regular self-portrait I'd like to finish up the month of June by sharing some very special photos...
Michael was born in 2008....
Melody was born in 2009...
...and Baby Smith #3 is due in February of 2014!!
It will be awhile before there are any more self-portraits of myself. Once the nausea and exhaustion aren't so extreme and I get my weight under control I will be sure to post more of my growing tummy!
We are sooo excited...can't you tell?
Oh wow! So excited for you, Kari! Children are a real gift from God, aren't they? I will admit that the transition from 2 to 3 was a hard one for me. Mostly because #2 is an absolute handful, so hopefully it will be a cinch for you. Can't wait to see a preggo picture. And remember, you are always more critical and much harder on yourself than anyone else will be.
ReplyDeleteMichael starts kindergarten in August so I will really only have Melody at home during half the day. Then Melody starts the next August. It shouldn't be tooooo bad! (Crossing my fingers!!) And we are closer to my parents now so that should be a HUGE help!! Thank you for your encouragement!
ReplyDeleteOk...when I read my comment, Content2Be, the last sentence did not make any sense. In my mind I was thanking you for the reminder about being more critical of myself than anyone else. I really do think that how I feel (nausea, yukkiness) is really what I look like, too! Anyways, wanted to clear that up. It made no sense! :)
DeleteCongratulations! So excited for you all!
