After crazy weekends like this last one, I find this coffee pin rather relevant...
It's almost like I stepped on a banana peel Friday morning and slid right into Monday!
And since Monday is weigh day (I'm seriously thinking about changing it to another day) I can officially say that I am down a total of 4.6 pounds! Yay me!
I probably should start counting inches, right? I feel skinnier than what the scale says. Doesn't that mean anything?
So since this weight journey is more like a sloth on a Sunday drive, let me tell you about a new app I've started using to track the food I'm eating. Surprisingly it's fairly easy to use, and calculates everything for me (thank goodness!).
It's called Carb Manager in the app store. My day normally looks like this...
I've found that most foods are already in the database but there is always room to add your own. For instance, there are some meals that I make that I have calculated the serving size for the entire dinner. After using the Very Well Fit Nutrition Calculator for my ingredients and serving sizes, I can save this food for future reference.
There's even a spot to add in exercise to give you back calories that you burned off while exercising!
Here's another feature that I like...
I can see an overview for the entire week. On Wednesday I ate two breakfast burritos for dinner (I was STARVING!) on my Carb Counter tortillas and went over my daily limit of 25 g of carbs. That's ok though because I certainly made up for it with the elliptical and my food intake on the other crazy busy days!
Another feature I like is that I can see the percentage between the fat, protein, and carbs so I know if I'm staying within my 25 g carbs to 92 g protein to 152 g fat to 1792 calories from the Simplified Keto-Calculator HERE. If you'd like a copy of the calculator, simply drop me a line and I'll send it your way!
Four weeks into this, Y'all, and a little over 15 pounds left to go!
Simply Chuggin' Away,
I’m definitely going to check this out. I’m doing very well with exercise, but I’m really struggling with the diet. I fell off the wagon Easter Sunday, and I’ve been struggling ever since.
