My daughter saw my list laying on my computer desk when she was typing up a report for her science class. She made it known how much she's looking forward to doing things like Making Carmel Covered Apples, Starting a Fire in Our Fire Pit, and Roasting Marshmallows.
My youngest amended that last one to be Making S'mores as we Roast Marshamllows on the fire pit.
Of course I agreed.
I probably could have added one more thing on my bucket list. It wasn't something that I was looking forward to per se, but something that was ordered by my new hematologist. Seems the iron pills he prescribed made me contemplate buying stock in TUMS. The stomach issues were impressive, to say the least!
So the alternative was this...
Yup, I got to take my iron intraveanously...for two-and-a-half hours.
I sent out this picture while I was waiting...
...with the caption: What do ya know? They actually DO give coffee intraveanously!
Wouldn't that be awesome? It would be a dream come true!
It's been over 24 hours since my treatment, but there's still a few weeks left before I feel any effects from the infusion. My levels should come up (they certainly gave me enough) and my energy should be way better than it was before.
Have you thought about doing your own fall bucket list? You should definitely join me! I'm doing things I never thought I'd do....just going beyond the list.
Overachiever...that's me!
